Course Objectives The aim of this course is to give the students the basic information about eye diseases and prevention of eye diseases that cause vision loss.
Learning Outcomes The students who succeeded in this course;
  • Describe the symptoms of eye diseases
  • Describe the basic features of eye diseases
  • Describe the situations of ophthalmic emergency
  • Describe the effects of systemic diseases like diabetes mellitus, hypertension etc. on eye
  • Describe the methods of newborn scanning
Course Description Eyelid diseases, Lens diseases, Cataract and Its Treatment, Abruption of Retina and Macula diseases, Optic Nerve Diseases
